ABOUT ME

I am Priyanka Shrestha from Kathmandu, Nepal. I have completed my Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Social Work from Tribhuvan University.

I am a passionate youth change-maker, storyteller, and the founder of Dignity for All, an initiative dedicated to addressing menstrual hygiene challenges and restoring dignity to women in Nepal. With a strong commitment to social justice, gender equality, and environmental sustainability, I have been an advocate for next-generation leadership since the age of 16, actively engaging in both national and global advocacy efforts. I am also an avid traveller.

Currently, I am serving as a Network Partner Recruiter for The Possibilists, a Youth Power Champion for Restless Development, a Global Youth Ambassador for Theirworld, and a Lead Ambassador for Extern (formerly known as Paragon One). I am also an active member of several key youth networks, including We Are Family Foundation, CIVICUS, Global Young Greens, MGCY, Global Youth Biodiversity Network, YOUNGO, Youth for Road Safety, Three Sixty Plus, and Sustainable Ocean Alliance. These associations allow me to contribute to important causes and collaborate with peers worldwide on issues ranging from environmental conservation to road safety and sustainable development goals.

I also had the honor of representing Nepal and global youth at the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York in 2023. I have also participated in several prestigious international events, including the 360+ Leadership Collective Program in India (2018 & 2019), the Global High-End Manufacturing Summit (GHMS) in China (2019), the Three Dot Dash – Just Peace Summit in the USA (2019), Festival University in Austria (2022), Our Ocean Conference & Our Ocean Youth Leadership Summit in Panama (2023), the Founding Lab Summer School in Austria (2023),  the World Social Forum in Nepal (2024). These experiences have further fueled my commitment to creating positive change on a global scale.
